Kalissa brings deep experience in financing projects that create jobs, revitalize historic spaces, and strengthen communities nationwide. She’s known for her ability to align diverse stakeholders and manage complex, multi-layered transactions from concept to closing.

Before joining KCD Legal Partners, Kalissa practiced at a national law firm focused on community development finance and held leadership roles in local and state government advancing public-private initiatives.

Her work spans a wide range of community development tools, including impact lending, traditional real estate finance, equity investments, New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs), Historic Tax Credits (HTCs), and renewable energy incentives. With experience representing developers, lenders, investors, and nonprofits, Kalissa brings a 360-degree view to every deal. She thrives on the creative structuring of tax credit and incentive transactions, navigating diligence challenges, and helping clients stay compliant and on track long after closing.
